J.A. Alemparte, M.D., F.A.C.C. is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease. He did his Fellowship in Cardiology at the Long Island College Hospital in New York from 1994 to 1997. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Alemparte has been with the Arkansas Heart Center since January 2004.
Dr. Kantola D.O. graduated from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Completed residency in Internal Medicine at Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas. Fellow, Cardiology at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL.
Certified in Nuclear Cardiology, Echocardiography and Pacemaker/ICDs. Joined Arkansas Heart Center in 2006.
Dr. Laura Adams graduated from the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences, Little Rock in 2000. She is Board Certified in Family Practice. She is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Adams established ADAMS HEALTH & WELLNESS CLINIC inside the Arkansas Heart Center in February 2010.

Clint Wood, M.D. was born and raised in central Arkansas.
Dr. Wood obtained his Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and his Doctorate from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock.
He completed his internship in General Surgery at Baylor and residency in Interventional Radiology at UAMS. He completed additional fellowship training in minimally invasive neurovascular and spine techniques.
Dr. Wood performs a variety of endovascular procedures ranging from peripheral artery disease and aortic aneurysm repair to carotid stenosis and cerebral aneurysms. In addition, Wood provides comprehensive pain management for nonsurgical spine and leg pain as well as vertebral compression fractures.
