Dr. Alemparte

J.A. Alemparte, M.D., F.A.C.C. is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease. He did his Fellowship in Cardiology at the Long Island College Hospital in New York from 1994 to 1997. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Alemparte has been with the Arkansas Heart Center since January 2004. 

Dr. Kantola

Dr. Kantola D.O. graduated from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Completed residency in Internal Medicine at Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas. Fellow, Cardiology at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL.

Certified in Nuclear Cardiology, Echocardiography, and Pacemaker/I.C.D.s. Joined Arkansas Heart Center in 2006.

Dr. Adams

Dr. Laura Adams graduated from the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences, Little Rock in 2000. She is Board Certified in Family Practice. She is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Adams established ADAMS HEALTH & WELLNESS CLINIC inside the Arkansas Heart Center in February 2010.

Dr. Wood

Clint Wood, M.D. was born and raised in central Arkansas.

Dr. Wood obtained his Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and his Doctorate from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. 

Dr. Wood performs various endovascular procedures ranging from peripheral artery disease and aortic aneurysm repair to carotid stenosis and cerebral aneurysms. In addition, Wood provides comprehensive pain management for nonsurgical spine and leg pain and vertebral compression fractures.

Clint Wood, M.D., is board-certified and a member of the Society of Neuro-Interventional Surgery and the Society of Interventional Radiology.

Dr. Kevin Philips

He is graduated from the University of Arkansas College of Medicine in 1985 and is a well-known and respected Gynecology Specialist in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
With over 30 years of experience in the River Valley he was also instrumental in bringing Bio Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy to our area. Patients that have moved from the area still travel back to Fort Smith for their appointments.
Along with existing patients he is also accepting new patients at his office at 4200 Jenny Lind Road, Suite A inside the Arkansas Heart Center in Fort Smith.
Dr. Kevin Phillips and his wife Dr. Sumer Ph
illips have two children and reside in Fort Smith.
